As a life long resident of Washington State, I was born and raised in Snohomish and graduated from Snohomish High School. During my senior year I began volunteering as a Candy Striper at Providence Hospital in Everett. I was later employed at Providence for over 31 years. I began in the Business Office, transferred to Medical Records and finally spent 25 years in Human Resources where as a Manager, I managed HR systems and people processes for more than 700 employees. I participated in numerous continuing education offerings as I advanced my career. In 1996 I earned my national certification as a Human Resources Professional. We lived in Stanwood for over 30 years and moved our home to Camano Island 3 years ago following our retirement. In addition to volunteering for Providence I enjoy spending endless hours sewing and crafting, gardening and traveling with my husband Brad. We have four children spread from Stanwood to Florida and are fortunate enough to have four beautiful grandchildren living nearby whom we love to spoil.
