In-Home Care Registry

Helping you stay independent at home.  The Camano Center’s In-Home Care Registry is designed to connect local service providers with Camano Island residents who are looking for help in their home.

How the Registry Works

The In-Home Care Registry maintains a list of qualified, independent care providers who offer a variety of services to assist with daily living. These services may include:

  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship
  • Personal care assistance
  • Errands and shopping
  • Respite care for family caregivers
  • Transportation
  • Yard maintenance
  • Home repairs

The registry serves as a referral service only; all care providers are independent contractors, not employees of the Camano Center. While the Camano Center conducts an annual background check on all providers, it is the responsibility of the client to interview prospective caregivers and check references.
