Many employers donate funds when employees or retirees volunteer. Check with your current or former employer to see if your volunteer hours at the Camano Center or 2nd Chance can be matched to create greater impact.

Current Camano Center medical transportation volunteers may download and print driver log forms as needed.
To enhance safety measures, we encourage everyone to contribute to preventing more common
incidents, such as tripping, by maintaining a clutter-free and well-organized store layout.

Appointments are available on
the 1st, 2nd, 4th Wednesdays
at the Camano Center. Fees are as follows:
$40 toenails
$10 fingernails. Call the Camano Center to schedule an appointment
Nutritious meals are prepared by Island Senior Resources in partnership with the Camano Center and delivered with the help of volunteers. ISR staff are on site Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to provide support and answer questions.

SHIBA provides FREE, UNBIASED Medicare advice to anyone with Medicare and/or Medicare + Medicaid. We help you find the best program for your needs. Additional programs may help cover costs.
Medicare open enrollment period for 2027 is October 15-December 7, 2026. SHIBA volunteers are serving Medicare clients of Snohomish and Skagit Counties as well as Camano Island

Senior Serve is a free appointment-based food distribution for anyone in need of food age 60+.The Food Bank is open for Senior Serve every Thursday from 11am-12pm.
Snow Goose Transit’s mission is to provide safe, reliable transportation for our community, focusing on older adults, low-income families, and those with mobility limitations.
Washington Law Help provides legal guidance to support informed decisions about your future, including choosing a representative, planning for loved ones, and handling affairs after someone passes away.
Free volunteer help with chores like yard care, shopping, and housekeeping. Coordinated by Opportunity Council and the Camano Center. Referrals must come from doctors or case managers. Clients cannot apply directly.
