Take Better Care of Yourself While Caring for Others
Are you—or someone you know—feeling stretched in your caregiving role? Caregiving can be physically, emotionally, and financially demanding, whether you're supporting a loved one at home, in a care facility, or from afar.
Powerful Tools for Caregivers is an evidence-based education program designed to help caregivers build skills, reduce stress, and find balance.
Classes are offered as a six-week series, once a week for 90 minutes each session. The series is offered twice a year, in the Fall and Spring at the Camano Center. No cost (Pre-registration required).
This course is led by Judith Shoudy and Kris Kappel, certified volunteer instructors who bring both professional training and personal caregiving experience.
Their passion for supporting other caregivers creates a welcoming and meaningful learning environment. Class size is limited to 6–15 caregivers, ensuring plenty of interaction and support.
Pre-registration is required. Space is limited, so early sign-up is encouraged.
