Sharing is Caring

Supporting You in Your Caregiving Journey

Are you caring for someone with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia? This support group meets once a month and is a great way to seek support from those who have the same concerns and challenges related to caregiving for someone with cognitive or memory impairment.

Program Basics

The group is facilitated by Kathryn Wallace, with support for care partners provided by Cheryll Davis. Caregivers are welcome to come with or without a spouse or partner. A person with dementia needs to come with a caregiver or partner. If you are bringing a partner with dementia, the group is geared toward early dementia clients (for example, the person with dementia needs to be able to self-manage toileting and have the ability to engage in some verbal conversation). There is no cost to participate.

How to Join
The group is held on the third Wednesday of each Month from 10:30-12:00 at the Camano Center.

If you are interested in participating in the support group, please reach out.
