If you are looking for a fun, flexible way to get involved with the Camano Center, consider volunteering for our special events! Our events happen throughout the year and always provide an enjoyable experience for both guests and volunteers. Most shifts are just 3-4 hours, making it easy to fit into your schedule.

What You Will Do

Help with a variety of event roles depending on the need. Positions may include:

• Sell tickets and check people into the event
• Set up or tearing down event spaces
• Welcome guests and count attendees
• Provide front desk support
• Serve food or assist with other hospitality tasks

Annual Events May Include:

• 55+ Resource Fair
• Women's Expo
• Camano Island Summer Solstice Arts & Craft Fair
• Christmas in July
• Spaghetti Feed
• Holiday Craft & Gift Bazaar
• Gala Auction

Qualifications

• Outgoing and friendly with a passion for community engagement.
• Able to stand or walk around for several hours depending on the position.
• Commitment to the event and the shift you sign up for.
