All proceeds from the shop directly support the programs and services we offer to the community. Whether you are looking to boost your resume, or simply want to get involved, we have a variety of positions and shifts to fit your schedule.

What You Will Do

As a thrift shop volunteer, you'll have the opportunity to contribute in many ways.

• Receive and sort donations.
• Cashier and handle checkout.
• Price and restock merchandise.
• Help create eye-catching displays.
• Engage with customers, many of whom are loyal regulars.

Qualifications and Requirements

• No prior experience is necessary--we will train you.
• Be open to working as part of a team and taking direction from staff.
• Commitment to your shift is important, as this is a business operation.
• The ability to lift up to 15 pounds (accommodations can be made if needed).
• The ability to stand for periods of time during your shift (accommodations can be made if needed).
• Dress comfortably but presentably for interacting with customers.

What You Can Expect

• Support and Training. Our team will guide you through everything you need to know so that you will feel comfortable in your role.
• Flexible shifts. You can choose the shift that works with your schedule--volunteer one day a week or more!
• Friendly environment. You'll work alongside a great group of people dedicated to supporting the Center through their hard work.
• Shifts are three hours. 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
• Parking is available, and the thrift shop is conveniently located near a bus stop for easy access.
